John H. Ditslear III, M.D., FACS
John "Jack" Ditslear was born in Noblesville, Indiana where he currently resides with his wife and four children.
Dr. Ditslear received an undergraduate degree with honors at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1990 and his doctorate degree in medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine in 1994. During medical school he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Society for academic honors. Dr. Ditslear completed his training in general surgery at Methodist Hospital and Indiana University School of Medicine. He joined Tower Surgical in 1999 and is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Ditslear has pursued particular interest in advanced laparoscopic surgery and bariatric surgery.
Dr. Ditslear is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the Society for Laparoendoscopic Surgery, American Society of Bariatric Surgeons, American Medical Association and Indiana State Medical Association.
He is on staff at Clarian Hospitals (Methodist, North and West), Community North and East Hospitals and Riverview Hospital.
