P. Daniel Read, M.D., FACS

A native of Indianapolis, Dr. Read is a general surgeon with special interest and training in laparoscopic, thoracic and breast surgery.  He received his B.S. with high honors from Butler University and Doctor of Medicine from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Methodist Hospital of Indiana where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Read served as Chief of Surgery at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville from 1989 to 1996, and has served on the Board of Trustees for Hendricks Regional Health since 1995. Dr. Read's wife Julie is a registered nurse. They are the parents of four children.

Dr. Read is a member of the American Medical Association, Indiana State Medical Association, American College of Surgeons National and Indiana Chapter, and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons.
